Crítica literaria y opinión pública: polémicas literarias en Colombia, siglo XIX

Abstract
This paper proposes vindicate literary criticism asdiscursive space resulting from the practice of writing that seeks to participate in the discussions of the scope of the current political power, from the study of four cases involving Colombian literary criticism of the late nineteenth. That is, literary criticism as a private space of reasoning whose topics of discussion, consensus and dissentmediate the relationship between the writer, the society and the State, configured in terms of critical dialogue (or not) to the current political power.
