Abstract

This article studies how medieval bestiary, Bestiarum vocabulum, can be found in the chronicles of indias as late as 16th century. From a sample of five chronicles, it was stated that medieval bestiary was not a model or a source for fauna depicting; although numerous similarities are observed because chronic and bestiaries share a vast and widespread network stale even beyond the books.
