The journal of the defeat. Exile and democracy in Controversia (1979-1981)
Main Article Content
Abstract
Controversia. Para el examen de la realidad argentina was a journal published between 1979 and 1981 by a group of Argentine intellectuals exiled in Mexico. The element that brought these intellectuals from the peronist left and the socialism within the same platform of discussion was the acceptance that the Argentine popular block suffered an “atrocious defeat” in the 70s. Under the idea of defeat, this paper analyzes the different ways in which the problems of exile and democracy were discussed, throughout its thirteen numbers.
