Abstract
Dentro de los estudios sobre la serialidad narrativa, de muy reciente atención en la academia latinoamericana, son pocos los trabajos que se enfocan en series creadas por distintos autores. Este artículo, inserto en esa línea, examina los mecanismos de conformación de una serie encomendada desde la industria editorial. Para ello se toman como base algunas de las novelas de la colección “Literatura ou Morte”, creada en el año 2000 por la editorial brasileña Companhia das Letras, y caracterizada por el tipo de novelas requeridas: ficción de género policial protagonizada por escritores famosos (Borges, Bilac, Camus, Molière, Hemingway). Las instancias que cohesionan dicha colección, y que conforman el cuerpo del análisis, son la configuración de los espacios íntimos, la construcción nostálgica de distintas épocas y el diálogo literario interserial.
Abstract: Amongst studies on Narrative seriality, of very recent development in Latin-American academic world, there is a limited number of essays on seriality created by different authors. This article is inscribed in this research line, and is intended to examine the mechanisms of serial writings commissioned by publishing houses. In order to do so, the author analyses some of the novels from the “Literatura ou Morte” series, created in 2000 by the Brazilian Companhia das Letras, The kind of novels included in this corps are detective fiction featuring famous authors (Borges, Bilac, Camus, Molière, Hemingway). The aspects that characterize said collection, and that integrate the analysed corpus are the depiction of private places, nostalgic perceptions of the past, and the inter-serial literary dialogue.
