The authors must accept the following terms:

1. They will retain copyright and yield the right of first publication to the journal. The work will be published under a Creative Commons license (Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International), which allows third parties to use the work as long as the authors name and original publication in the journal is mentioned (Latinoamérica. Revista de Estudios Latinoamericanos, year and pages).
2. The authors may make independent and additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the article published in the journal (i.e. to include it in an institutional archive or to publish it in a book), as long as it is clearly indicated that the work was published in this journal first.
3. It is permitted and recommended that the authors disseminate their work online (i.e. in institutional telematics archives or on their websites) before and during the submission process, which may produce interesting exchanges and increase the citations of the published work (See The Open Access Effect).
