Reflexiones para una historia comparada de las democracias en Iberoamérica

Abstract
En este artículo se propone una caracterización amplia de democracia,
la cual pretende incluir los aspectos comunes de las experiencias
democráticas que se han producido a lo largo y ancho de la historia de la humanidad.
Antes de hacerlo, se enmarca dicho esfuerzo en una línea de investigación
de largo aliento (la historia comparada de las democracias en
Iberoamérica) y se definen algunos conceptos involucrados en la mencionada
caracterización.
