Irrupción de la temática urbana en la literatura argentina

Abstract
El proceso de modernización de las ciudades latinoamericanas que se
acentuó en las décadas de los cincuenta y sesenta se verá representado recurrentemente
en la literatura, mostrando soluciones estéticas disímiles, cambiantes, en
constante reorganización. Buenos Aires, como ciudad capital experimenta el fenómeno
con rapidez delirante; su rostro urbano cambió radicalmente así como la manera
de vivir la ciudad. Los intelectuales de la época se convierten en cronistas, creadores
y testigos del ruido y el silencio de su ciudad.
