Abstract
En este texto hacemos una descripción-análisis del juego político y electoral durante el año 2007, que culminó con las elecciones generales de octubre.
Nos ocupamos particularmente de las características de las campañas partidistas y de las novedades y permanencias que muestran los resultados. Intentamos discriminar las preferencias electorales por regiones y sectores sociales, distanciados de algunos lugares comunes difundidos por grandes medios de comunicación con evidentes fines de crítica a la fórmula triunfante. Hacemos notar, finalmente, que la rápida superación de la crisis económica de 2001-2002 no tuvo una correlativa mejoría en la calidad del juego político institucional.
