Abstract
José Gaos y Francisco Romero comparten una manera de pensar
y hacer las cosas, que se manifiesta en un común interés por promover el
conocimiento y recuperación de nuestras raíces y nuestro pasado filosófico
a través de una historia de las ideas en América Latina, con el fin de lograr
nuestra autoafirmación, autoconciencia y valoración de lo que nos constituye
como latinoamericanos. Gaos y Romero sostienen que es un modo de expresar
la verdad filosófica de acuerdo a nuestra manera de sentir, ver y entender
esta nuestra América.
